Stephanie Fryman, CPA

Western Michigan University, BA/MSA
Practice Emphasis:
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Corporate and Individual Taxation

  • Tax Planning

While Stephanie “officially” joined the firm September 2014, she was already a familiar face around the office. Stephanie started her career in public accounting, at our firm, in January 2013 as a tax intern. The tax season crunch didn’t scare her off too much, as she returned for an additional tax internship the following year and then worked part-time as she finished up her accounting degree at WMU (Go Broncos!). After completing her master’s degree, she accepted a full-time position and has continued to progress from a young staff accountant into her current role as a Senior Accountant.

Stephanie’s primary focus is providing accounting and tax services for private, closely-held businesses and individuals. Stephanie works closely with her team to ensure tax returns are completed in a timely fashion. In addition, she stays connected to clients throughout the year by providing various accounting, support, and year-end planning services.

Stephanie spends most of her free time with her husband, daughter and their two dogs. They enjoy taking walks around her parents’ family farm and spending their weekends at her in-laws’ lake house.

“The people. Working with such a close group of individuals, it’s easy to say that the people at BKC have easily become a second family to me. They have been here to support me through it all; graduations, passing the CPA exams, wedding planning and just recently, becoming a new mom. I could not imagine reaching some of these professional and personal goals without the extra boost of courage provided to me by the people I work with. You can’t ask for much more when you find a company that values you as a person, continues to guide you through the advancement in your career and still emphasizes the importance of being a happy, well-rounded individual outside of the office.”
