Ryan’s journey to BKC began during high school in which he enrolled in an accounting course and quickly realized this was a subject he wanted to make a career of. After graduating from Clemson University with a BS in Accounting, he moved from his home state of New Jersey to Michigan to be with his wife, Hillary. After working in public accounting in the Grand Rapids area for 3 years and the financial services industry for 2 years prior to that, it was time for a move closer to home in Kalamazoo.
After joining the BKC team in January 2021, he graduated from Western Michigan University with an MBA that spring and subsequently obtained his CPA license in January 2022.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending his time with his wife, daughter, 2 cats, and dog. He also enjoys golfing, basketball, hiking, and traveling.
