Lucas graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University in April of 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduating he spent two tax seasons with a small firm before joining BKC in January of 2022. Previous to his accounting career he worked in retail management and the healthcare field.
Lucas grew up in Portage and currently resides in Kalamazoo with his wife and 3 children ages 9, 7, and 2. He enjoys football and baseball and is very active in fantasy sports. Music is a passion of his and he has played guitar for over 25 years, classic rock and metal being his main interests.
